From the Ken Kittinger estate on Music Row in Nashville. This hand-signed photo from the photo shoot of Vince's album NExT BIG THING was more than likely signed at Vince's bar "3rd & Lindsley Bar & Grill," when Ken was there with Vince - which was nearly every Monday night when Vince played there. He called Ken (my father) "Pop," & loved him like his own dad. in fact, Vince reserved a front row table chair for "Pop" & ALWAYS - ALWAYS told anyone sitting in it if Ken showed up on Monday night.... "..Sorry, this is 'Pop's' seat." & so it was. Vince was just one of my father's favorite celebrities after his 50 year career as the PREMIER GOLD RECORD MAKER for the stars. Ken made thousands of gold & platinum awards for virtually every star that came, went, stayed or passed in the Music City. Many of those awards are listed in my ETSY store (Davestraub47). Vince continues to play every Monday night at the 3rd & Lindsley Bar & Grill when he's not touring with the Eagles or have other commitments. This promo shot was done for the album Next Big Thing, released in 2002. It wasn't a monster album as many of Vince's are, but 4 cuts were billboard Hot Country chart singles. More importantly, the photo shoot yielded one of the greatest photos of Vince to-date. This one was reproduced by MCA Records in Nashville & sent to Ken's workshop for future promotional use. Ken had many copies signed by Vince & there were several in his vast estate when he passed in 2016. in fact, Ken's estate is something of a legend with more than 5,000 collectibles & music memorabilia which will never be found elsewhere, & which shows up on eBay as I sell out one item & list another.
