Up for sale is a high quality antique 19th century Eastlake gilt bronze door handle backplate. The plate is made of very thick gold gilded bronze that has acquired a lovely patina from age. The design is very ornate & done in high relief & has a hole in the center for the knob & mounting holes on the sides. It's in great condition & measures 11 inches long by 3 inches wide.
