Lovely vintage (circa 1940s) Mercedes Porcelain Mantel Clock. This clock case itself is not marked by a maker only the number 41. The clock face which says Mercedes & the back side plate is marked Made in Germany. The clock measures 5 1/4 inches tall, 5 inches in length & just under 2 inches deep. The clock case is decorated with light green & purple flowers - the base color being white. Darker green columns & gold trim accentuates this lovely clock. Condition: Nice vintage condition. The clock itself with wind & run but does not stay running. I am not a clock expert so may be a simple fix, but I am not sure. The clock case is in good condition. Some paint loss & roughness to the very top edge (by the green bead). Great little clock to add to a desk or mantle.
