This is a pairing of two (2) vintage 1950s, porcelain, Victorian, couple figurines. They are unmarked & could have been made in either Germany by "Dresden" or in Japan, but I lean toward the latter. The first & largest couple depicts a sitting lady & standing man measuring 1.75 inches in depth by 3 inches wide by 3.5 inches in height. This figure features a hand-painted, pink & green Colonial couple accented with Dresden lace. The Dresden lace has been used on the ladies skirt & the man's neck. This piece is in very, good condition with no signs of broken lace, however it has yellowed over time. The second figurine is smaller & measures 1.75 inches in depth by 2.75 inches wide by 3 inches in height. This Victorian couple look like sweethearts & are hand-painted in blue, brown pink & yellow colors. There is no Dresden lace on this figurine & it is also in great condition.
