VINTAGE "BIG EYED" GIRL & OWL JEWELRY BOX - circa 1950's This special, Eden Maio style "Big Eyed" jewelry box is super cute! MEASURES 7.25"W x 5.25"D x 3.25"H OUTSIDE - The outside is covered in an off-white, textured vinyl. It appears to have some shading, depending on the light. The top is covered with a "Big Eyed" girl along with a "Big Eyed" owl in red, yellow, green & black. The front has a gold tone handle that lifts the lid. 2 brass hinges on the back that lift & lower the lid smoothly. The bottom had some of the vinyl missing, I attached a NEW piece of white velvet over the bottom (to prevent scratching). There are no labels on this jewelry box, but the "Big Eyed" design resembles those jewelry boxes made by Eden Maio, circa 1950's. INSIDE - The lid lifts to the inside lined in red satin, very popular in the 50's & 60's. Top tier measures 6.5"W x 3.5"D & is divided into 3 sections. Bottom tier measures 6.5"W x 5"D x 1"H. GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION - The inside of this jewelry box was kept beautifully. The satin shows no signs of wear, rips, tears or marks. The hinges inside work smoothly to open & close the lid. The outside is the only area that shows some wear & some smudges (further cleaning left to new owner). PRICED ACCORDINGLY Please review pictures closely as they are part of the description.
