Otherwise, it's in as deadstock shape as it can get, ordered for a home improvement project & never used, instead the roll tucked away in a closet. From doing geneology on the home, we estimate this to be from the mid1940s. We saw the pattern in a bedroom (under layers of carpet) & believe this was possibly going in an adjoined dressing room.
