Up for sale is a very nice quality antique original 18th century St. Magdalene oil painting. it's beautifully painted on thick wooden paneling with a realistic approach & rich color. it depicts Mary Magdalene seated wit her hands crossed & wresting over a human skull. the detailing is truly superb & is an original composition. the painting is set in an ornate 19th century gold gilded frame & is also matted. it can be removed from behind if desired. it measures 16 1/4 inches by 14 1/2 inches framed. the wooden panel alone measures 10 3/4 inches by 9 1/4 inches. it's in nice condition with normal ware.
