This is a beautiful handmade 60s vintage small Guatemalan huipil style poncho! Made of heavy wine striped cotton, it features gorgeous embroidered flowers in yellow, purple, pink, crimson & green. Open on the sides, it has a raw tufted hem & is a short cropped length, great for petite heights & originally made for a teenager. It's in fair to good clean condition with some flaws: imperfections & little holes in the weave & discolorations near the hem. There are no labels, we were told this was handmade in Patzun, Guatemala. We recommend hand washing cold separately & line drying. We previously listed this item with a child's size head opening, but have since altered it so that there is a comfortable sized V neck now for an adult to slip it on & off. There are no constrictive seams so it will fit a range of sizes, although it is short-waisted. It measures: Width - 29 inches, Length - 20 inches. Our model Charlotte is 5'4" tall & her measurements are 36-28-39. She wears a Women's size Medium or Large.
