Vintage silverplate souvenir spoon commemorating the Haugesund Coat of Arms & Haugesund City Hall in Haugesund, Norway. Makes a very nice spoon collector gift. Also sure to be a special gift for a collector of Scandinavian or Norwegian items. Haugesund City Hall was built in 1931 & will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2031. The pink city hall, designed by Gudolf Blakstad & Herman Munthe-Kaas, is one of the finest neo-classical buildings in Norway & has been elected the most beautiful building in Haugesund. Spoon bowl is a beautiful circular soup spoon shape & has a very detailed, raised rendering of Haugesund City Hall. The top of the handle is the Haugesund coat of arms with the crown & three birds. The spoon is in nice vintage condition with some light signs of age. 40 grams of silver were used in the plating process. Measures 5.5" in length. Please refer to each photo.
