This is a very attractive Rahr's Beer label, never used & very retro. The beer itself was brewed by the Rahr-Green Bay Brewing Corp in Oshkosh between 1966-1971. Prior to then, Rahr's operated as an independent brewery on the shores of Lake Winnebago from 1865 thru 1966 at which time it sold the rights to its labels. Throughout its history, Rahr's was considered one of the finer brews of Wisconsin. The label comes in a 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 rustic-style easel-back frame. For the old school beer drinker who might have tipped a few bottles of Rahr's in Madison or elsewhere. Makes a great anniversary or birthday gift.
