This is an antique gold watch clip chain with a clip end & a gold purse charm end. The hook clip end is stamped RFS & Co for Simmons, a jewelry manufacturer since 1885. This chatelaine like pendant chain measures 9" long by 5/8" wide with a hook clasp on one end & charm on the other. The gold metal purse charm measures 5/8" wide by 5/8" tall & can be easily detached via the larger spring loaded c ring. The top of the chain has the hook clip fixture with a bottom push latch that opens to attach to a button hole or pocket watch. This is the portion that is hallmarked. The opposite end has the purse pendant & c clasp. The center chain features a double ornate link two row chain. Please note that I have not tested this piece for gold content. Unique antique chain clip, perfect for gifting. Can also be worn as a bracelet. This antique piece was found at a recent estate sale & is in very good condition.
