September 29, 1909 Hudson Fulton Banquet Commemorative Bronze Medallion. The bronze medallion comes in the original box that it was given. One side features the discovery of the Hudson River by Henry Hudson, 1570-1611, The other side features the first steam navigation of the River, 1765-1815. According to the box it states on the front, "Hudson Fulton Banquet, September 29, 1909". Seems the medallion was given at a specific banquet. The black case appears to be leather & clips shut in the front. Push the little button in & the box opens. The medallion is in nice shape & measures about 2 1/2" wide by 2 1/2" high.
