This card was designed for the mother of a family my parents housed. Some Ukrainians do not speak Russian, but Ukrainian, so please be aware that this card will not be suitable for all Ukrainians, only those who lived in a part of Ukraine that has Russian as their commonly spoken language, as is the case for the family living with my parents. The design is a beautiful floral illustration, which is lovely for a woman rather than the Ukrainian flag or colours, which are great for fundraising & raising awareness but not really what you, as a refugee would want on your birthday card.
