This wooden work of art is based off of a customer's reference image of a boat. (Personally, I'm a big fan of the detail of the American Flag). I spent many hours digitally drawing the lines & then altering them so that some would engrave, some would score, & then others would cut. I then used a Glowforge laser to cut the design onto three different types of wood (walnut, maple, & cherry). I spent hours upon hours puzzle-piecing all of the pieces together & adhering them onto a backing sheet. Clearly, one of the art works has the name & decal of the boat engraved on it while the other two are not personalized. Because these are unique works of art with varying wood tones , I'm going to list them according to their border wood type (as noted in the image). Please note- this is made out of wood. Each piece has slightly different wood grain. They are all one of a kind! These measure 15" x 10.75" x .5" - I am a full-time high school art teacher & mom to two little boys. I love creating art & pretty much use all of my freetime being a "maker." I make all of my items in my home in Maine. I also offer a few different boat art options, so please check them out too.
