The Art Deco metal tin compact is a metallic blue color dispenser for powder. The compact is footed with cute little legs & a sepia image of an Adirondack lake vignette. The wonderful tin lidded compact is round in shape & shabby chic with wear & character. On the top of the compact is a sepia image lake scene with a couple in a canoe & nice trees. The compact concentrically widens to the base which is on three little silver legs with fan shape detail. There is the original label marked Adirondack Mtns. The compact top lifts & there the original puff in the top. in the compartment below is a concave well holding a bit of face powder. This is an interesting collectible compact & great display addition for a vanity collection! Will make a great gift to give or keep for yourself. A perfect gift for the lover of the Adirondacks. Some of these antique treasures were music boxes, but this one is not musical. Condition: Fairly good used condition & full of shabby cottage chic wonderfulness!
