"Evening Landscape" was painted in late 19th century by artist Hungarian Ladislav Mednyanszky. He was one of the most enigmatic figures in the history of Hungarian art, who, despite an aristocratic background, spent most of his life moving around Europe painting. His paintings were largely in the Impressionist tradition, with influences from Symbolism & Art Nouveau.
