NEW 2022 Nativity! This precious creche depicts Baby Jesus in the rock-hewn stable, under Bethlehem's star. Made entirely on the potters' wheel, this stoneware set is thrown as an inverted bowl. Baby Jesus is created by what we potters call "throwing off the hump" (WATCH MY VIDEO ABOVE!) As always, the piece will twice make a run through the kiln, receiving a satin farmhouse white glaze before Jesus' copper halo is added. The height of the nativity measures 4.5" wide & 2.5-3" tall.
