Open up the package & take out the "BingDao" Tea Brick & break off 1 or 2 small tea bricks, then put it in the heated teapot; Tea leaves vs. water (1g : 20ml). Step 2. Rinse tea twice (More fully awakened tea, better taste). Pour boiled water (about 212oF/100oC ), for the 1st rinsing, wait for about 30 sec. & let the tea leaves be fully heated & moistened. Then pour out the tea liquid. For the 2nd rinsing, pour boiled water (about 212oF/100oC ) & wait for about 5-8 sec. Then pour out the tea liquid. Step 3. Make "BingDao" Ripe Pu-erh Tea Brick Pour water directly onto the tea brick in the teapot, & wait for 30 sec, so that the tea liquid is red & the taste of Pu-erh will be mellower & richer, then pour out the tea liquid into your teacup. Enjoy the tea. The steeping time depends on your preference of the taste: if you like it strong, then steep longer, & vice versa. During steeping, you can see the color of the tea gradually intensify, & the water changes from transparent to golden, then red-orange, just like the process of ink droplets in the water. This method allows the tea to last up to 10 steeps. Although this method sounds complicated, it helps the exudation of the flavor of the tea.
