Showcase your favorite breads, cheese, pizza, & charcuterie with this hand-carved Wine Barrel Head Baker's Paddle. It also makes a beautiful centerpiece for flowers & fresh fruit. TECHNIQUE: Made from reclaimed red wine barrels formerly used at wineries around the Napa Valley. We created this paddle from a wine barrel head, & hand-carved it into the shape of a baker's paddle. Then we sanded it multiple times to create a smooth surface & finished it with a food-safe butcher block conditioner. As a courtesy, each purchase includes a gift tag with care instructions & a FREE 1 oz. sample of our favorite butcher block conditioner (mineral oil, Vitamin E, beeswax, & Carnauba wax) which rejuvenates & protects the wood for years to come. PLEASE NOTE: Each wine barrel head paddle varies slightly in shape & size depending on the placement of cooperage markings but that's what makes them so unique. Also, make sure to hand wash with a sponge or soft cloth & towel dry. It should not be allowed to stand in water & is definitely not dishwasher safe.
