These plant markers are made of wood & are best used as decorative accents for indoor/artificial plants. They are not meant for prolonged use in wet conditions. If used outside it is recommended that you spray them with a clear sealer such as polycrylic to protect them from rain or watering. It is also recommended that they are not left sitting in standing water. With proper care they are a cute & sometimes funny addition to your plants.
