Antique Vintage Hurdy Gurdy Crate Label, Orlando, Florida 1940s 8 1/2" x 3" ~ Monkey & Organ Grinders go back to the 1700s. The organ player would crank the bellows & the monkey would go around & gather all the change. My pictures seriously don't do it justice. Crate Labels are a reminder of a bygone era but the amazing lithography process is unparalleled even to this day in my opinion. Museums & Art Institutes have galleries dedicated to them & more & more of them & collectors are seeking these out to preserve their history. Once the limited supply for sale is gone & on display with collectors or in galleries then they will be very difficult to acquire.
