The James Webb Space Telescope successfully launched on Christmas day 2021 & is now in a stationary orbit in Lagrange point L2, which is behind the moon if you're looking at it from Earth. After many years of delays, everyone is eagerly awaiting the data & images it will send back. So far, some amazing pictures have been taken. From some of the farthest away galaxies we've ever imaged, to ultra detailed pictures of Jupiter here in our own solar system.
