Description

Blue Oyster Cult's "Imaginos" song cycle has found new life in the hands of founding member Albert Bouchard. A few years ago Albert revisited the project with the intent of finishing the story, which already spans two albums with a third on the way. I was inspired by the song "Independence Day" to create this travel poster for the fictional nation of Plutonia. I wanted a design that fully embraced the fascist trappings of Sandy Pearlman's epic lyrics for "Imaginos," but it also needed to embrace 19th century gothic art & early 20th century German expressionism. The song is AMAZING & I was pushed to do it justice. This piece was later included with Deko Entertainment's collector's set of "Imaginos 2: Bombs Over Germany." 11" x 17" on glossy, text weight paper. All orders ship free domestically! We ship internationally everywhere; international shipping price will be automatically calculated at checkout. Designed & printed in Columbia, South Carolina. Shipping tubes made in USA.
