A great antique French Staunton chess set! Mild lean to kings. Chip to one dark rook that has been repaired. Otherwise normal signs of use & wear. Two carefully replaced natural colored pawns one dark & the light queen was replaced as well. Mild/moderate king lean. Otherwise a great set of character with a nice patina. I have polished the pieces to restore their former glory. Comes with original slide top box. Made around 1900-1930. A wonderful addition to any collection.
