The sign is made to the 1910s specification used by the city to designate this famous street in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. This is the last style of porcelain sign before retroreflective signage, unfortunately not in the distinct shape any longer, were introduced in 1950s. This particular intersection was featured heavily in the various Miracle on 34th Street films throughout the years, & is also the intersection near Macy's department store's flagship location. I can of course make any street, any block number, found anywhere in the Big Apple, & everywhere else too! The sign is available in two sizes & your choice of directions: 16 1/2 by 9 inches or 22x12, & either left-facing, right-facing, or double-sided with each side featuring a complementary legend: one side with the arrow pointing left, the other side with the arrow pointing right, so that they point in the same direction on the physical sign. This is a high quality, heavy steel remake, very much reminiscent of the classic porcelain appearance of the original signs. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection.
