ABOUT THE ARTIST: Born in the town of Kherson, Ukraine. in 1969 Mr. Lavrinenko graduated from Kyiv State Institute of Art, where his teachers were M.Kmelko & V.Shatalin. in 1979 the Ukrainian artist became a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. He worked in the field of easel painting. Mr.Lavrynenko was considered a full-blown master of genre painting, landscapes & still-lifes. From 1972 to 1992 he worked in the Art Foundation of the training centre "The painter" in Kyiv, Ukraine. The painter's works are stored in both state & private collections in Ukraine & abroad.
