It is stained using Varethane Dark Walnut stain & finished with at least 3 coats of polyurethane. This game has been updated to include easily adjustable cord locks to allow you to shorten or lengthen the strings if needed (see last pic in the lusting). This is an addictive, simple to play game that will be the life of the party. You can use a peg - or shot glass - to keep score. This is a great gift idea for any occasion - birthday, house warming, Christmas (or no occasion at all!). This game comes in four pieces that are easily assembled using a standard philips head screwdriver by attaching the post to the top bar & base. Fully assembled, this game is 15" (L) X 5.5" (W) X 14" (H) along with the scoring "ladder". It can be taken apart again for easy storage. RULES: Place the wooden peg or shot glass in the center circle of the ladder. Your goal is to get your ring on your hook as quickly as you can. Adult scoring: Each time you land the ring on the hook, you move the shot glass one step towards your opponent. When the shot glass moves off the end of the ladder that player has to drink the shot. Family scoring: Each time you land the ring on the hook, you move the wooden peg one step towards yourself. When the peg is moved off the end of the ladder, that player gets the prize (typically a small piece of candy or treat). Order now & let the fun begin!
