The x-large top can have up to a 1 1/2" variance & the plus size tops can have up to a 2" variance, with a measurement smaller or larger. Please remember that this material is stretchy. The best way to come up with your perfect size (fit), since not all manufacturers use the same measurements, is to measure one of your favorite tops. Measure your favorite top for the bust measurement, from 1" below the armpit & across to the other armpit, & then double that measurement. That should give you your desired bust measurement, & then compare it with the measurement specs to get your size. The measurements will also have the short sleeve measurement, but that doesn't mean the listing has a short sleeve top available in the listing OR a 3/4 sleeve .
