Made to the exact state standard used from 1964 to 1973 (and for several decades thereafter with only materials changing but layout remaining consistent). An original of these is not only very rare to find scrapped, but is a herculean effort to transport. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without chancing legal trouble... or a hernia. The sign is flat printed on heavy gauge steel, with completely accurate layout & fonts. It is available in four sizes: 24 by 5 inches, 36 by 7 1/2 inches, 48 by 10 inches, & 72 by 15 inches. The 72 by 15 inch sign is made on two panels, & will be shipped as two 36 by 15 inch halves, with mounting holes along the top & bottom edges to accommodate two rails for stability. This assembly & mounting process will be left up to the buyer. If you would like an even bigger sign made of even more panels, let's talk! The freeway signs in use in the field are much more colossal - this one is a precise rescaling of the standard junction sign down to a much more manageable size. It is a non-reflective sign - perfect for ordinary display, indoors or outdoors. (if you would like a larger size version,please ask as I can certainly make one!)
