Clift writes "Sadness is like the rain but it's always like the rain. Why can't sadness be pretty like sunsets & fireflies?..." This would make a thoughtful gift for anyone who has experienced loss but understands that light & joy can coexist with pain & grief. The words are printed in a typewriter & script font on handmade cotton rag paper with deckle edges. The color of the paper is a natural, unbleached white but may occasionally have tiny speckles of random color from other fibers mixed in. Size varies slightly because of the imperfect nature of handmade paper, but will be roughly 5" x 7", 8" x 10", 11" x 14" based on your selection.
