RARE Mid Century Lis Muller Rosenthal Handmalerei Porcelain Plates Vintage set of 6 small oval side plates produced by Rosenthal of Germany in the 1950s & designed by Lis Muller. The form was designed by Raymond Loewy & is part of the Rosenthal Classic pattern, & the painted design is by Lis Muller. Each plate is completely hand painted & unique. There are 4 designs among the six plates - 2 pairs are the same image & you can tell how each one really is unique when you compare them. Each plate is marked on the reverse side: Galanterie Rosenthal HANDMALEREI Germany along with a handwritten signature of Lis Muller. These pieces are extremely rare! Each measures: 6.25" x 7.5" Excellent vintage condition. These were either never used or lightly used & well cared for. No chips, breaks or repairs.
