Uniquely carved decorative stoneware bowl Height 3 3/4'' Width 5 1/2'' + Hand thrown & trimmed on potter's wheel + White engobe applied + Hand-carved + Bisque-fired + Glazed with Eggshell White + Final high fire in gas kiln This earthy bowl was thrown & trimmed on a potter's wheel. I then brushed on white engobe before carving my design. After the first firing, I glazed the lip & inside with a flat white glaze. It was then kiln fired to a high temperature, which makes it quite durable for stoneware. Dark red stoneware fired to cone 10. Dishwasher & microwave safe Lead-free glaze.
