This product is 100% Merino Wool, used in needlepoint. Each skein contains 30 yds. of wool. This fiber is suggested to use on 18 ct. needlepoint canvas-however I have had customers who have used this on larger count canvas (16, 14, 13, ct.) & double stranded etc. with great success.
