European Antique Puzzle Jug, Puzzle Pitcher - holes at the top which prevent one from drinking the contents, except there is a hole at the very bottom which is supposed to connect to another hole under the handle for using with a straw! Designed to look like a tree with greenery at the bottom & a branch-like handle. On the front is a Hungarian or Slovak saying which says I think, "Hello, drink before the legs leave." If you can help me more correctly translate this, I would greatly appreciate it! These are very fun old unique pitchers - great to collect, great conversation pieces. Measures approx 6 inches tall & 3.5 inches wide at the center. It is missing some glaze on the rim in one place as I have shown in the close up. Has been packed away for many generations so it is in great condition. No apparent flaws.
