We are pleased to offer a rare vintage cobalt blue art glass bowl by Hadeland Glassverks, Norway. This heavy round bowl is hand blown & features 'End of Day' pastel spatter design on the sides in soft greens, pink, purples & white. It has the etched signature "Hadeland" underneath. Hadeland is both the oldest existing industrial company in Norway, as well as the longest existing Glassverks, founded in 1962. This beautiful bowl is about 7.75" wide at top rim, 5.75" tall & weighs in at 5lbs 13oz. It is in overall excellent condition, besides some scuffing underneath from surface wear, a surface scratch on the purplish spatter side (couldn't get a decent picture of this one), & a tiny fleabite which shows up as a white dot in the middle of picture #10. None of these distract from the overall beauty of the bowl, as you have to look for them to actually see them. Please check the pictures for overall condition. Any lines shown on the bowl are by light reflection only. This stunning large Hadeland bowl would be perfect displayed with a collection of art glass treasures, or sitting in a bright place become the conversation piece all by itself.
