An old Mola of a (fantasy?) animal framing colorful columns of traditional lozenge-like shapes surrounded by a labyrinth-like geometric pattern. The animal with a bird-like head & feet are embroidered with thread. Measures approximately 11.5" tall by 18.0" wide. Mola shows signs of wear, fraying & uneven fading which indicates it may have been part of a Kuna Woman's blouse. These "imperfections" hint that the mola is authentic & not made solely to be sold for to tourists. A gentle hand wash to refresh. Have a question on this item?
