These old funeral baskets are one of my favorite decor items! They look so pretty with faux flowers & other decor. They can be hung up or displayed on any counter or cabinet. This one is HUGE! (See similar one just listed which is standard size of these baskets) I have never seen another with this sizing! It was a custom basket that belonged to a funeral home which is likely why it has its impressive sizing. My guess is (just a guess) the funeral home likely sold the baskets & this one was on display as a sample) It is so incredible & makes such a huge statement in any farmhouse. I LOVED this with dried flowers. I have used this so many times as a massive table center piece but found that my favorite place to display this large basket was on the fireplace. It is such an incredible piece of history. I have decided to let this beauty go now that is the season for baskets. If is a once of a kind past time rare treasure It has patina'd to the perfect amount of mild chippy paint & it still has the original rustic tin liner! Measurements are aprox due to all of the curves.
