Balos dolls are tall, slender, & elegant. They are made completely of wood, jointed at the shoulders, elbows, hips, & knees. You can gently pose them in many positions. I believe they originated or were sold in Chicago. She is hand-painted & has tiny sueded shoes & her dress has a handkerchief hemline (not sure you can see that) her stockings are painted on & her necklace is a lustrous pink color.
