This pendant is sterling silver & features a feminine visage crowned with laurel leaves. I hand pressed this into a steel die that was made from a hand carved vintage design engraved into steel. Then annealed silver sheet was hand pressed under several tons to impress it. This created a classical robust silver design. A gorgeous beauty, antique patination with oxidation. The aqua blue is vitreous glass enamel I hand apply & torch fired onto fine silver impressed with a deep set of spirals. This yields a classic base taille look & offers a uniquely beautiful treatment of a vintage design.
