Published & distributed by Collector Graphics, Ltd. Previously owned, but never displayed. Set of 4. Each print has been signed. Past Remembered prints include: The General Store; The Old Home Place; The Way Across; School Days. Huey J. Theus was born & raised in the small south Georgia town of Cordele. His childhood recollections of rural scenes, some of infinite beauty & others abject poverty, are reflected in his work with an amazing degree of sensitivity. What began as a hobby became a serious matter in the early 1970's. His paintings have won various awards including a resolution honoring his work by the Georgia State Senate. His reputation as a great American artist was enhanced by the completion of paintings for former Georgia Governor George Busbee, actor/singer Kenny Rogers, & actor James Garner.
