WOOD CHARACTERISTICS: The shelves are proudly handcrafted in Texas, it is stained to obtain a weathered finish to highlight its warmth, with unique character including knots, growth rings, & grain patterns. Some minimal twisting & bowing might be present to highlight the wonderful rustic vibe. Every piece you receive will be truly unique. We purchase our wood from an old school wood mill in East Texas. They source their timber from a sustainable forest. If you plan to install more than one shelf in a specific area, we recommend that you purchase all the shelves at the same time, The stains varies from time to time. The wood is new wood, & not reclaimed. We can't find a reliable source of reclaimed wood that does not have undesirable elements. That is why we offer new wood that is sustainable & environmentally sensitive. Additionally, we use Low VOC wood stain. BRACKET DESCRIPTION: L Shaped Flat Iron mounting brackets & drywall screws are included, this piece is ready to hold up to 200 lbs. per pair of brackets as soon as it reaches your door. If the wall studs aren't in the ideal location, you will need to purchase appropriate anchors, For the longer shelves, we have included an extra single bracket on the "Size" drop down menu for you convenience. If you purchase the single bracket, we will make sure that it matches the other two brackets that are included with the shelves. WHAT IS INCLUDED: ONE shelf & TWO brackets are included in an order quantity of (1) one each. The photos are illustrations of what the shelves would look like after they are installed. Décor items are not included. The brackets are not attached to the shelves, so you will have the freedom to mount the brackets in the most optimum place for your space. We include standard 2" drywall screws to install the brackets to the studs. If you can't hit the studs, you will need to purchase anchors suitable for your wall materials, We include Installation guidelines & care suggestions, as well as anchor suggestions. Our customers say that the shelves are easy to install. Please remember to drill pilot holes prior to screwing in the drywall screws & don't over torque them. WOOD SIZES OFFERED: We offer 7.25", 9.25" & 11.25" deep shelves, with lengths varying from 24" to 72". The thickness of our wood is approximately 1 ½".
