This is an incredible, original Vintage watercolor painting rendered by renowned artist J. PHILIP RICHARDS. C,1950's. This beautiful watercolor painting depicts a impressionist landscape scene . Titled by the artist " The Cove - Ogunquit Maine" . It has been signed by the artist lower right side & framed under clear glass in a wooden framed with a hanging wire attached to the reverse side. Measures: 36.0" w x 1.5" d x 27.0" h / Inches in great vintage condition with normal wear / marks consistent with age. Please see all photos for additional details. He was professor emeritus of Fine Arts at Wilkes College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Member of the American Watercolor Society, NYC, NY; York Artists Association, York, ME; Ogunquit Art Association, Ogunquit, ME; Wyoming Valley Art League, Wilkes-Barre, PA; National Society of Casein Painters, NYC, NY; Director Ancestor's Art Workshops, Searsport, ME; Gallery Director, "Gallery 164," Kennebunk, ME; Professional Artists League of America, NYC, NY; Art Guild of Kennebunk's, Kennebunk, ME; Maine Artists, Wiscasset, ME.
