This is a 3.25-inch Black Walnut Coffee Scoop. It holds 1.5 tablespoons. I like the compact design & grippy feel in my fingers. I also like its deep bowl for its size. & you can't go wrong with the dark & rich Black Walnut grain & color.t is an original! It could be a scoop for coffee, sugar, bath salts or any other ingredient. The scoop pictured is the actual scoop you will receive. This scoop came out of a tree from our woodlot here in Central Iowa. It was worked down by hand & then was sanded smooth to 400 grit. After which I raised the grain with water & re-sanded smooth after it had dried. It was then treated with food grade mineral oil & coated in a food grade beeswax/carnauba wax formula. Just give it a coating of your favorite oil or wax now & then to maintain its luster. I make all of my stuff one at time. Each piece is an original! Hand Carved Coffee Scoop.
