Click to view this gorgeously-crafted antique stick pin featuring a square-cut ruby in a beautifully-worked solid 14k yellow gold pin. The face & pin are yellow gold with openwork & milgrain detailing. Octagonally-shaped with decorative geometric detailing - gorgeous! I will assumed this to be a created ruby, as they were making lab-created stones as they were creating rubies in labs in the early 1900s. Estimated Edwardian era - Art Deco era, or early 1900s - 1920s. 12mm wide x 61mm long or approx 1/2 inch long x 2 1/2 inches long Stone: 3.5mm measured outside the bezel Markings: 14k Very good antique condition.
