This is an antique gold watch clip chain with a vest/button hole clip end. The hook clip end is stamped CO & R as seen best in pic 4. The back side of the clip is stamped Pat Sept 22 03 for 1903. This chatelaine like chain measures 5 1/2" long by 1/2" wide with a hook clasp on one end & clip on the other. The top of the chain has the clip fixture with a back latch that opens to attach & snaps shut to fix into place, working properly. The face of the clip has a top open hole, which probably housed another chain, which would attach to a pocket watch. The back of this clip has the pat hallmark. The opposite end hook catch has a push opening, allowing the hook to attach to another chain, watch or fob. This hook end is stamped Co. & R. Unique antique chain clip, perfect for gifting. This antique piece was found at a recent estate sale & is in very good condition. Comes carefully wrapped & packaged for safe & secure delivery. Shipping on multiple items is combined.
