Measures approx: 4.25" x 8" The small pieces with "x" is where her hands sit. Do not throw away. My items are made from high quality HDF that is super smooth & doesn't require sanding between coats & doesn't bleed through your paint making your project look dingy over time. All projects are unfinished & need to be assembled. Glue will be needed! (ca THICK or super glue needed) Most items are etched to show you where each piece is supposed to go & there are pictures to reference. Each layer is cut from 1/8" high quality hdf Any craft paint can be used. Paint in thin light coats. Suggestions: Use a 2" foam roller to cover larger areas or use spray paint. Paint pens in either acrylic or oil based can help with letters & words. My favorite are POSCA. I use tape to hold pieces together in packaging. Be careful, words & letters can be fragile. All pictures showing projects painted, displayed & any props including beads are not included & are posted for inspiration only. You are buying the projects unpainted & unassembled. Anytime a piece fits inside of another piece such as when used as a stand or used as a filler, they are meant to be very snug. If paint gets on the sides, they may not be able to fit. High Density Fiberboard It's an engineered, composite wood board that has no natural wood grain, but is easy to paint with any acrylic paint. It absorbs paint fast, so it is best to paint thin layers on. If the paint is dragging, the paint may need to be thinned a little with water or get your paint brush damp. Acrylic or oil based paint pens work great too! HDF should never be put in contact with direct moisture/weather as it is water resistant, but not waterproof. It won't warp as it is resistant to absorbing moisture from the air. It is durable, but not quite as structurally capable as regular wood.
