This Antique Swedish Tärna Original Seabird & Floral Pattern Soup or Salad Bowl, could also be used for a small Serving Bowl. Manufactured by Göteborgs Porslinsfabrik in the early 20th century, in a beautiful deep green with almost a greenish/blue hue & has a diapered decorated rim. Göteborgs porcelain factory started in 1898 & was purchased by Rörstrand in 1914. "Tärna" was included in the price series in 1915. The fact that it says "Original" means that it is a decor made by Gothenburg's own designer.Size: Height: 2 3/4" (7 cm) measures: 10.1/4 (26 cm) x 11.5" (29 cm) Weight: 27.7oz (785 gr) Condition: Very good antique condition, crazing commensurate with age, as seen in photos.
