Soapwort is an excellent ground cover choice for dry or desert climates, such as Arizona, New Mexico & California. It will do well in other areas as well, but is prized for its ability to withstand long periods of drought. It provides color & greenery in an otherwise sparse landscape. The flowers are a lovely pinkish purple & the blooms are similar looking to phlox. Grows 6-8 inches tall.
