Easily start a fire, no matches required! I have made this fire starter from wood that has been dyed & laminated in layers. This piece has a very camoflage look. Not only does it look great but it is an essential tool when starting a fire. This would make a great gift for anyone that enjoys the outdoors. The overall length is approximately 5" & the handle is approx. 3/4' in diameter. The 3/8" diameter Ferro rod will last for over 50,000 strikes. The wood has been finished with several coats of gloss laquer & the lanyard holding the striker is rawhide. I make each piece one at a time to insure that what you receive is truly unique item.
