Glaser's work was highly influential in the development of modern graphic design. He was also a co-founder of the New York Magazine, for which he served as design director from 1968 to 1977. Throughout his career, Glaser was recognized with numerous awards for his contributions to graphic design, including the National Medal of Arts in 2009.
